Stock prediction of EPS grow likely hit out of expectation if the major impact hit by uncontrollable factors e.g. unfavourable forex fluctuation. Malaysia exporters selling in USD is smiling due to strong USD +20%; importers is crying and debt in USD also feeling the pain of +20% increased in cost.
So, we have to forgive ourself for this "out of expectation". Be happy investors.
