Hidden jewel stock means the price is below its value or price does not reflect it fair value or Mr Market think it should not worth at this price level due to 3 factors is not mature yet.
3 factors I can guess cause the hidden jewel stock (timing, environment & people):
1. Liquidity of the stock, means boss (owner) is holding a many stocks causing the number of shares in the market ready for buy/sell is not sufficient. (Environment)
2. No leader sheep. How a leader sheep manage the stock price? Leader need to start the collection of the stocks, talk to the boss (onwer), planning & implementing together with the boss (I think need about 1 year for the collection), then execution the stock push up order. (People)
3. Timing of catalyst play e.g. GST implementation lead IFCAMSC (main GST solution provider) stock price explosive run up. (Timing). Therefore, profit from patience (PFP) is important, because you need to wait, patiencely wait for the time mature, wait for east wind when everything in order & ready for explosive move.
Anyway, liquidity of stock will cause the explosive stock move when leader sheep & timing of catalyst play is in place. Stock with low liquidity like HIL will move up very quickly or limit up due to the less number of stocks in the free float market.
What I can guess for HIL to be explosive stock? Privatisation due to its cash rich level & sustainable & growing profit prospect.
Therefore, who is the people (leader sheep)? The Boss
When is the timing? Honestly, I'm not sure, but I'm going to PFP.
