CHINWEL: Good to keep or must keep?

I would say must keep must buy stock. Now is in aim the bull wave 1. Financial health wise no need to highlight as it now solid, cash rich and growing business. It is just matter of time building a strong uptrend.

SUCCESS: Success turnaround?

Yes, i would said yes as it's subsidiary SEB bleeding able to stop and SUCCESS will successful turn into profitable again. K securities is given target price 3 again, this is what I heard from kopi talk.

YLI : a loss making steel stock

YLI Holding Berhad : A loss making steel stock will given a chance to turnaround with better steel price?

I would say yes from 2 factors (1) better average steel selling price and (2) last March MYR 97 mil Langat 2 job awarded. Current price is at consolidation price and should be reaching the bottom already (hopefully i'm right). I will give a try on 0.465 with batch buying or full force If the price start turnaround. Current steel theme should be a motivator to attract buying.

Not a net cash company. Only interesting part is high retain earnings which has a chance to give 1:1 bonus issue. NTA 1.52, but it only meaningful when making overall bottom line as a gain.

马股有900多家上市公司, 净现金公司大约有200 - 300家左右。这些公司不是老牌的消费股, 就是盈利不断成长的优质公司, 因此才可以维持公司成长的同时还可以累积不菲的现金在手。而这些公司现金那么多, 它们都可以用来做什么??

1.派发股息
现金多的公司, 投资者当然希望公司会派发多点股息啦。而且偶尔也可以派发特别股息, 而MAGNI, LIIHEN, SUPERLN以及SAM等公司都在今年派发了特别股息。主要规功公司盈利率破新高, 派息也跟着成长。

2.收购其他企业
有了现金在手, 公司就可以收购其他比较小型的公司扩张。而TOPGLOV以及TGUAN手握大笔现金, 公司都不排除收购其他相关领域的公司。

3.容易跟银行举债
当公司的现金多, 也意味着公司的Gearing ratio比较低。这种公司假设突然要扩张急需大笔资金, 银行是很乐意借钱给你的。毕竟这种优良记录的优质企业, 倒债的机会比较低。

例子: KOSSAN以及HARTA等公司就是透过举债来进行增产计划。

4.容易度过金融危机
很多举债过高的公司在金融风暴就是因为资金链出现问题而倒闭。但是一些老牌公司就是靠着雄厚的现金度过一次又一次的危机。

这些公司都有能力在经济低迷的时候维持派息, 原因就是有雄厚的现金做后盾。

有人说不借钱做生意的公司不容易把公司做大。笔者认为不同领域以及不同管理层都有自己做生意的一套。只要是公司盈利可以维持成长, 不管是净现金或者是借债公司都是好公司。
